Starbuck's Plan - Go More Green |

Starbucks has released it's 2007 Corporate Social Responsibility Report which outlines several initiatives that it plans to implement to become even greener. Starbucks has a goal of incorporating green building standards into all of it's building construction; to use 50% of renewable energy in its stores by 2010; and to ensure that patrons use their ceramic coffee mugs when drinking coffee in the stores.
Other highlights includes:
* increasing their purchase of sustainable coffee from its current 65% to 80% by 2013
* continue to purchase in fair trade certified coffee and continue to be the largest purchased in North America
* committing to a five year plan to conservation international which addresses climate change by supporting farmers and communities who are preserving forests in coffee regions.
