On  May 29, 2008, The American Apparel & Footwear Association (AAFA) is putting on a sustainability conference titled, Sustainability & The Triple Bottom Line: Turning Responsibility Into Opportunity. Speakers include John Wells, President & CEO, Interface Americas John Frazier, Director of Considered Chemistry and ESH, Nike and Innovest. The Conference will also provide opportunity to examine case studies on Hybrid Technologies, Wal-Mart's Initiatives and Green Architectures & Operations. 

The goal of the conference is to address sustainability as an integrated business practice. The conference will help answer the why and how of sustainability and help corporations balance their concerns of incorporating social, environmental and economic initiatives to achieve a balance of all three.
