How does one become more green? Basically, you need to assess your current state, set new goals, change your current behavior and then measure the results. Seems a little complicated for most companies but Xerox is making it easier for offices of any size through their Sustainability Calculator. The Calculator can be used to assess printers, multifunction devices and copiers regardless of the vendor.

"This calculator cracks the code to help offices of any size really understand just how 'green' their offices are or could be," said John Kelly, president of Xerox Global Services North America in a statement.  

The Calculator makes the initial analysis focusing on energy use, greenhouse gas emissions and solid waste generation. Then, Xerox provides a plan for the office to help create an energy saving location.
