Young Reporters of the Environment is a program that encourages students in grades 5 to 12 to submit articles and photos regarding environmental issues and solutions. Currently, there are more than 500 schools in 15 different countries participating.
The Canadian program is run by Environmental Defense and articles / photos are to be published in Green Living magazine. Children in grades five/six up until high school can join anytime (summer included). Articles and photos sent in by March 15, 2008 will also be eligible for the Young Reporters for the Environment International Award.
