Land Rover is working hard in it's marketing department to push its green credentials, even taking out full page press ads. Land Rover which manufactures solely 4x4 vehicles has come under scrutiny from green groups and now the company is working even harder to show they can be green. There is even consideration of launching a battery powered version of Land Rover's Freelander 4x4.
The marketing strategy currently focuses on four areas: development of environmentally friendly technology, sustainable manufacturing practices, offsetting new vehicles' carbon emissions and donations to conservation and humanitarian\an projects.
