Davos Introduces New Sustainability Rankings and Ratings Print E-mail

Corporate Knights in conjunction with the World Economic Forum in Davos announced the 100 most sustainable corporations in their list, The Global 100. This is the fourth year that The Global 100 has been announced. The rankings are built on research created by Innovest and includes the leading sustainability companies within every sector.

This year, The Global 100 looked at companies from 17 countries and rated them with respect to how effectively they manage environmental, social and governance risks and opportunities, relative to heir industry peers. The UK had the highest number of corporations on the list with 24, the USA had 16, and Japan was third with 13. Canada had three companies that made it on The Global 100 list: Royal Bank of Canada, TransCanada Corp. and Nexen Inc.
