Procter & Gamble has announced their five-year sustainability goals as part of its 2007 Global Sustainability Report. Within the report P&G reports a goal to generate at least $20 billion in cumulative sales of green products. The environmental impact of this is predicted to be at least 10% less than those of previously available products. The company also plans to reduce it's CO2 emissions, energy and water consumption and disposed waste.
Other goals included improving the lives of 250 million children by continuing its corporate cause, Live Learn and Thrive; continuing to help P&G employees build on their sustainable thinking practices; and to continue to work with their external stakeholders such as UNICEF and WHO to create new opportunities and solutions for the world’s sustainability challenges.
