As December approaches, stores like Barney’s New York are pushing green for the holidays. Their new ‘Green Holiday’ campaign is promoting everything fashionably sustainable for the gift buying season. From bamboo skateboards to raw organic denim, no moss is left unturned.
The Barney’s campaign is selling sustainable with a hip, ‘green is the new black’ marketing approach. Gift cards, pillows and bags plastered with the slogans ‘Green is Groovy’, ‘Save the Planet’ and ‘Join the Green Revolution’ are everywhere.
