PNC Financial Granted Trademark for ‘Green Branch’ |

The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has granted PNC financial rights to the term ‘green branch’. PNC claims to have more certified environmentally friendly buildings than any other company on earth.
The bank currently has 42 buildings certified by the U.S. Green Building Council, 40 of them branches. The bank says that the main reason for the trademark approval is the rarity of banks being associated with environmentally friendly characteristics. Read the full article at Environmental Leader |
