NBC Universal has launched a new ‘Green Is Universal’ campaign emphasizing environmental awareness, activation and results. The introduction of the campaign was done in grand style, with a full week of green-themed programming on NBC last week.
The initiative will be reinforced with a ‘Green Is Universal’ website, an interactive resource for everything ‘green’ including tips, videos, news and blogs from NBC personnel. A major communication network like NBC could have the ability to accelerate the awareness of sustainability issues through a widespread green campaign, while at the same time increasing viewer loyalty.
