A report from the American Solar Energy Society is saying that as many as one in four workers could be working in the renewable energy and energy efficiency industries by 2030, 40 million jobs generating $4.5 trillion in revenues.

The report, entitled “Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency: Economic Drivers for the 21^st Century” predicted that solar, wind, ethanol and fuel cells would be the top growth areas in the coming years.
