Bernd Bischoff, CEO of Fujitsu Siemens Computers (FSC) announced yesterday that the company’s entire product line will be getting an energy efficiency makeover, the first IT vendor to do so.

The move will be done at no extra cost to consumers and ties in strongly with a recent finding from IDC that consumers are quickly changing to a green IT buying policy. Of the energy-efficient products, the flagship will be a monitor that automatically enters a zero power sleep mode with inactivity.
