Along with the ‘green movement’ has come a range of commitment to the issue. Peer pressure is rampant, and with some ‘greener than thou’ types comes the unfortunate baggage of ecological attitude, ‘eco-tude’.
The danger of ‘eco-tude’ is that it can turn the ‘light green’ crowd away from sustainability entirely. The challenge for today’s companies is to make green an attractive, easy option that convinces people to buy without the preaching that might turn them off.
