The Clinton Climate Initiative (CCI) announced yesterday a partnership to make green products more affordable and accessible to city governments and consumers across the United States.

CCI will work alongside Wal-Mart to lower the cost of energy-efficient and clean-energy technologies. The partnership will help 1100 cities gain access to volume discounts through CCI’s purchasing consortium. The consortium has discount agreements with 25 manufacturers including GE, 3M, Philips and Siemens.
