Virgin Money has announced that it will launch the Virgin Climate Change Leaders Fund in January 2008, a product meant to support companies that either have a small carbon footprint or are working to lessen their environmental impact.

GLG Partners LP, which manages GLG Environmental Fund, will manage the new Virgin offering. GLG is expected to attract those searching for investment opportunities in businesses with a strong environmental strategy.
