Car club companies Zipcar and Flexcar announced today a merger to help boost their competitiveness against the rental car market. Zipcar will have the leading role in the merger, retaining both its name and CEO Scott Griffith.
The merger will also reinforce expansion plans in the U.S., Canada, and Europe.
