Corporations are Embracing Green Real Estate, Survey Finds |

In a survey from CoreNet Global and Jones Lang LaSalle, nearly 80% of workplace and corporate executives said that sustainability is an important business issue and they are willing to pay a premium for it. Green buildings still face some obstacles. While the actual costs of LEED buildings are generally 1-5% more than conventional buildings, the perception of 52% of respondents is that building green will cost 5% or more.
