Global sales from clean energy sources like wind, solar, geothermal power and biofuels could grow to $1 trillion a year by 2030 according to U.S. bank Morgan Stanley. Solar power will lead the way with an estimated 11.2% of the market followed by 9.6% from wind (up from the current 0.9%). Several factors justify these estimates, including global population growth and soaring prices for fossil fuels.
